We're Jean Elektrik KE, an electrical outfit working out of Juja, and we've been at this for over nine years. Our days go into wiring and rewiring houses, running conduit through new builds before the plaster goes on, installing distribution boards and swapping out breakers that keep tripping, and fitting sockets, switches and lighting points where people actually need them. We install security floodlights and compound lighting, connect cookers, instant showers and water heaters onto their own circuits, and correct earthing where a system was never properly grounded in the first place. When power has failed and nobody can say why, we test the circuits, trace the fault back to its source and repair the thing that caused it. The homes we work in run from single rooms and rentals up to family houses and maisonettes, and we take on the landlord side of things too, where a whole block of units needs its wiring checked over or brought back to a safe standard. Shops, salons, hardware stores, offices and small workshops bring us in for extra power points, better lighting layouts, and repairs that need finishing without the business closing for a week.
